About the role
In this hourly, remote contractor role, you will work as a Financial Analysis Subject Matter Expert (SME) to review AI-generated financial analysis and business-finance responses and/or create expert finance content, evaluating reasoning quality and step-by-step analytical problem-solving while providing precise written feedback. You will assess solutions for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to the prompt; identify errors in financial modeling logic, assumptions, unit economics, valuation reasoning, forecasting, and metric interpretation; fact-check finance concepts and calculations; write high-quality explanations and model solutions that demonstrate correct methods; and rate and compare multiple responses based on correctness and reasoning quality. This role is with SME Careers, a fast-growing AI Data Services company and subsidiary of SuperAnnotate, delivering training data for many of the world’s largest AI companies and foundation-model labs.
Important:

Develop AI Training Content: Create detailed prompts and gold-standard finance outputs (models, assumptions tables, narratives, sensitivity analyses, investment-style summaries).
Optimize AI Performance: Evaluate and rank AI responses to improve numeric correctness, rigor, clarity, and practical usefulness.
Ensure Model Integrity: Test AI outputs for calculation errors, misleading interpretations, unsafe assumptions, and bias; validate reliability across business scenarios.
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics/Statistics, or a related field; CFA/MBA is a strong plus.
5+ years of professional experience in financial analysis (FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, equity research, consulting, or similar). …
