Real platforms never charge you
A genuine AI training platform pays you. It does not ask for a fee to apply, to unlock tasks, to buy training material or to “activate” an account. If anyone asks you to send money, buy gift cards or pay in crypto before you can start, stop there.
Check where the message came from
Recruiters for real platforms write from the platform’s own domain and point you to its official job board. Be careful with messages that arrive only on WhatsApp or Telegram, use a free email address, or link to a look-alike domain with an extra word or a changed letter. Open the platform’s site yourself rather than following the link.
Pay that is too good, too fast
Specialist roles can pay well, but scams promise large sums for simple tasks, guaranteed hours or daily payouts with no assessment. Real projects usually involve an application, a test or interview and identity checks before any paid work.
Protect your documents and accounts
Legitimate platforms run identity checks through their own onboarding, often with a known verification provider. Never send a passport photo, bank login or one-time code by email or chat. Never let someone “use your account” to do the work for a share of the pay.
Where to report it
Report the message to the platform it claims to be from, using the contact details on its official site. Then report it to your national fraud or consumer protection agency, and block the sender. Every role on this site links to the platform’s own listing so you can check it at the source.
