In this hourly, remote contractor role, you will work as a Postman Specialist (SME) to create realistic, challenging computer-based tasks using Postman and related API testing workflows. You will design practical Postman tasks, document them clearly in SuperAnnotate, ensure your setup supports the task, and record yourself executing the task on your computer. Tasks may include creating API requests, configuring headers, parameters, authentication, environments, collections, variables, test scripts, response validation, documentation, mock APIs, import/export workflows, or troubleshooting API errors. Your work will help train advanced AI models to better understand how real users complete API testing and developer-tool workflows.
Your profile
Hands-on experience using Postman for API requests, testing, collections, environments, variables, authentication, documentation, or debugging workflows.
English proficiency at B2 level or higher to understand project instructions, document tasks clearly, and communicate with the project team.
Comfortable using a computer, developer tools, browser-based or desktop Postman, API documentation, files, and recording workflows.
Ability to come up with realistic and challenging Postman tasks that reflect actual API testing, QA, backend, integration, automation, documentation, or developer workflows.
Strong understanding of Postman basics such as HTTP methods, URLs, headers, query parameters, request bodies, status codes, variables, environments, collections, and authentication.
Ability to ensure your setup supports the task, including having Postman installed or accessible, test APIs available, credentials/tokens handled safely, sample payloads prepared, and any required references ready before recording.
High attention to detail when preparing the task, executing the workflow, and checking that the recording is complete, safe, and understandable. …
