Handshake is recruiting scientific visualization specialists with experience in data analysis and visualization tools such as ParaView to contribute to an AI research project. In this project, you’ll apply your expertise to help improve how AI understands real-world professional tasks within your domain, such as visualizing simulation results, post-processing scientific data, and building reproducible visualization pipelines. This is an ongoing, project-based opportunity you can take on alongside your current role.
What You’ll Do
- Use your scientific visualization experience to create tasks that today’s top AI models can’t solve based on real workflows, such as loading and filtering simulation data, volume and surface rendering, slicing and contouring, streamlines and vector fields, Python scripting with pvpython, and batch processing of large datasets
- Review and evaluate AI-generated responses
- Provide clear, structured written feedback to help improve AI model performance
- Work remotely and complete tasks at your own pace, with no set schedule or minimum hour requirement
